Matthew Dennis Goodman is an American actor, television personality, and entrepreneur from Columbia, South Carolina by way of Tulsa, Oklahoma. After being adopted by two of the most wonderful parents in the world, Matthew grew up in the northeastern region of Columbia, South Carolina. It is the church where Goodman discovered his love for sports, arts, business, health, and fitness.

Matthew attended Ridge View High School where he continued his education as an honor roll school student.

After graduating high school, Matthew continued to pursue academia obtaining a John Hopps Scholarship at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Matthew would go on to study a bachelor of science degree in psychology.

After winning numerous talent shows and contests; Matthew D. Goodman gained national recognition by winning the dance competition 2x on Showtime at the Apollo in New York City. A memorable moment was when Matthew performed in front of his Aunt, “Gwen” who lived in Long Island, NY before she passed away due to her battle with cancer.

Matthew was later blessed to be in America’s 1st ever African American reality television series, College Hill: Atlanta on the BET network. The show was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia where it followed a group of college students living together as their lives unfold in the beginning stages of their young adulthood. Matthew was later cast on Oxygen Network’s Love Games 3: Bad Girls Need Love Too. Both Matthew and Judi Jai of Bad Girls Club Season 7: New Orleans became the winners for that season. It was on this show that Matthew was crowned the name, “Gentleman G.”

After the birth of his daughter, Kennedy, with over a decade of experience in television, film, and music both behind the scenes and in front of the camera; Matthew looks forward to taking his God-given talent to new and exceptional heights. Matthew continues his journey to strive for new and innovative ways to impact the world.
